The Shroff Investment Group, for whom Mozingo & Wallace has done several condominium developments, needed a new central location for sales offices, for both regular real estate sales and time share sales. The group purchased an old strip shopping center on Kings Highway, that had been remodeled once before as a Beachwear Store. M+W was asked to create an eye-catching façade for the building, and to layout interior walls for a sales center. On an extremely low budget, it was decided to leave alone the existing aluminum storefront doors and windows, and only paint over the low brick walls supporting the frames. Leaving the lower sections of the street-side walls, the existing framed canopy was also left in place, and a vertical screen of acrylic panels with frames was built over the sloped canopy. Old accent towers at the façade were removed, and new square towers were added to help identify door locations. Each tower received a newly designed awning, complete with the company logo. The towers are finished in colorful stucco. While the Owner decorated the sales offices, M+W created the reception area. This area contains an especially designed curved reception desk, with a matching detailed ceiling overhead. Construction: Addition of metal and wood framing for cupola additions. Metal stud and gypsum board at any interior walls.
