The site for this small restaurant is part of the 21st Avenue Planned Unit Development. When the P.U.D. did not build the originally planned retail, local restaurateur Misty Coan decided to place her 50's style diner on this Ocean Boulevard Spot. The diner's tilted roof extends to cover the outdoor patio dining, where tourists and locals can enjoy food and drink while watching the activity along the Boulevard. Wrap-around storefront windows allow those inside to do the same. Inside, visitor's are transported back a few decades, as the large counter with its metal stools looks much like a 1950's soda fountain. The checkerboard floor tile pattern and metal rimmed tables contribute to this ambiance. Though small, the kitchen is efficient with plenty of equipment to provide a full menu, with specialty items concocted by Ms. Coan and her staff.
