Building 100 remains the two-story Administration Building for Horry Georgetown Technical College, built in 1966 to serve the original enrollment of 123 students. It had not received the upgrades reflective of its role in the graduation of over 17,000 individuals. After the development of a Master Plan and guidelines for the campus architecture, the firm of Mozingo + Wallace was commissioned to upgrade the building envelope while transforming the exteriors of the original campus, Building 100/200, housing Administration, given its stature and role, had the most prominent exposure. Building 200, dedicated to classrooms and workspaces, was one of backdrop, and remains as such. The approach to Building 100 was to emphasize its formality. While building 100/200 remained operational, the 100 exterior envelope was removed and replaced on the three most exposed elevations. Masonry pilasters were constructed around an exposed steel frame, supporting an exaggerated coffered canopy above. All sides of building 200 were modernized.
