Mozingo + Wallace has always practiced with sustainability in mind and with respect towards our environment. In order to preserve our finite resources for generations to come, we must pursue imaginative and practical design solutions, contributing to the collective good of all. All projects begin with these practical conceptual considerations and go through an extensive evaluation of of the mechanical and electrical/lighting systems.
The simple orientation of the building on the site, strategic placement of glazing and roof overhangs, etc., all improve energy efficiency with minimal additional cost to the project. If so desired by client, U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED certification can be pursued, with team members trained to assure process compliance and accreditation.
Regardless of the desired process and certification, Mozingo + Wallace is committed to designing architecturally significant, and environmentally sustainable projects which set a standard for others to emulate.
