Baldwin Construction approached Mozingo + Wallace for help on this project. They had already contracted with Dr. King to build a pre-engineered metal building for her office, but North Myrtle Beach Zoning ordinances required that the street façade be upgraded, that is, the metal building siding was not allowed. The result is an updated classic appearance. Synthetic stucco siding with carved expanded polystyrene trims, added with a concrete masonry water table, yields the look of a solid, stone building. Color accents on the front door canopy gives the building more curb appeal and makes the structure easily identifiable for first-time clients driving to the office. Although Dr. King had given Baldwin an interior layout, M+W worked on that to assure the most efficient and code-compliant floor plan was installed by the contractor. Construction: Pre-engineered steel building with metal stud wall infill at exterior. Exterior finishes combination of metal panels and e.i.f.s. Interior walls metal studs with Gypsum Board.
